Anything that lives, according to the energy that moves through it, regardless of the names the various cultures call it (ki - chi - prana - orgone etc.)
Each moves in its own energy anatomy, which ultimately exists, is mutually supportive and exchanges information through the chakra (7 basic - 21 secondary and 49 secondary of the secondary), the Meridians (12 basic channels, 12 zen, 2 central and paradoxical), as well as the central energy channel (sushumna, ida and pingala), which have thousands of ramifications into the body, the nadis.
All of these are surrounded by the field of the aura, which consists of the ethereal, the vital, the astral or emotional, the mental and the spiritual. All of these forms of energy are affected by our negative feelings and thoughts or negative thought forms of other people that adhere to our aura, as well as the negative karma that our family or even our race might have. Also, vibrations that may be present in the room we are using (computer, air pollution, etc.), and poor use of our vital energy (late nights out, poor nutrition, etc.)
Reiki has the ability to penetrate and nourish all these energy systems, plus our natural body, with a sweet type of energy, but also fully dynamic at the same time. It therefore transubstantiates the negative energy in and around our body into a more refined substance. It rids the body of toxins, whether they’re energy toxins or natural. It helps with psychosomatic problems (stress, tension, insomnia, etc.) and activates self-medication. It increases our vitality, since it releases blocked energy and thus allows it to move fluidly.
Reiki in its entirety is to man a deep support towards our efforts to expand our energy, as well as our support in life.
It makes us feel safe, since we feel that there is always an open channel of communication with the universe.
