Cleaning ear wax with candles
Ever since the ancient years, ear candling was used in a ritual and therapeutic way, starting from the ancient Greeks, who used ear cleaning to purify and cure on a spiritual level.
The Hopi people, a northern Native American tribe, are the ones who introduced the cleaning of ear candling in the modern era, once used in their ceremonies as a natural healing method. The candles that are traditionally used by Shaman therapists are made in the exact same way today, with the same traditional recipes.
This method is widely known to the holistic therapists of Europe andAmericaand is used to replace antibiotics and the standard syringe cleaning. The candling treatment offers a range of beneficial properties, as well as curing diseases and problems associated with the ears.
The treatment itself is a relaxing and simple experience. You light the special candle after you insert it in the ear and it gently suctions any impurities. Your ear slowly becomes a “chimney” because of the air that regulates the pressure in it and performs a soothing massage on your ear drums.
The impurities are concentrated at the base of the candle.
